General Info

Empty Pockets Offroad consists of a group of people from central Indiana that use 4x4's for their intended purpose. We don't drive anything off-road that doesn't have a Low range or Double low range. I'm sure you can relate to empty pockets if you own a 4x4 yourself. Just keeping up with your buddies is bad enough, add parts breakage, and all the other little things that make your 4x4 crawl, climb, and make it to the end of that mud hole or the top of that big hill and you can empty those pockets quick! It seems no matter what you drive, from the daily driver to a trail rig, your always reaching deep in those pockets to get more power, lockers, gears, or the latest high tech widget for your 4X4.

Empty Pockets Offroad Official Rules & Regs

To be a member:
Must own a 4x4!!!

Must attend one outing with the club before membership is granted.

Must pay Dues-$20 a year- prorated quarterly for new members.
Dues to be renewed in January of each year!

Must attend at least one outing a year following renewal of membership.

Must have at least 1 frame mounted tow point front and rear.

Must have own tow strap, chain, etc rated for towing or pulling stuck vehicles.

Must have fire extinguisher.

Must have Battery securely mounted-no bungee cords or zip ties

Must have a spare tire. Only exception are trailered vehicles.

Must have working seat belts

Members required to fill out emergency contact info sheet.

No illegal drugs allowed!!! see note 1

No driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol! see note 2

Note: CB Radio highly recommended!!!

You may or may not be allowed to participate on the ride if you do not have one or more of these depending on the safety concerns.

As a member if you neglect to meet the rules for the run you will lose one point per offense. If you acquire 5 points in a year you will not be allowed to participate in events until you meet the requirements.
Notes
1: If caught with illegal drugs you will receive immediate termination of membership! This applies to all members and their guests.
2: If caught driving under the influence you will not be allowed to participate any further on the run. Upon your second offense you will receive immediate termination of membership.

Any terminated member will not be refunded dues.

Any changes or additions to rules must be voted on and approved by voting members.

Voting period= 1 week

One paying member= 1 vote

Officers elected each year in January for a term of 1 year.
Any member may run for officer. Same voting rules apply.
